From there, Maurice went on to obtain his Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from Winthrop University and currently is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker approved to practice in the state of North Carolina by the North Carolina Social Work Licensing Board.

He began his clinical work engaging in community-based micro-work meeting families where they were in 2006 and has recently began focusing on macro and mezzo social work including policy change and community progression.
